Water inlet line on ice maker keeps freezing up
For model number WRF757SDEM01
Hi Randy, thank you for your question. You may want to check your water inlet valve. By the sounds of it, it is leaking into your tubing and slowly freezing over time. This causes a build up of ice that blocks the tubing. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I've got water slowly leaking into my refrigerator compartment and I can't see any visible leaks. Is this the most likely cause of the leak? Or maybe a bad filter, I just replaced it.
For model number krfc604fss00
Hello Matt, thank you for reaching out to us. Water leaking into the refrigerator is often due to a faulty water inlet valve (Part number PS11738056). This valve controls the water supply to the refrigerator. Before everything else, check the drain tube and be sure that there is no clogging or ice in it. If there is ice in it you must defrost it. In some cases, water filters and housing can also be the culprits. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need any further help.

My fridge water dispenser is extremely slow, the technician swap two valves already and now they're saying the filter casing but is been months. So, I would like to do it myself if I can get the right part number from here. My fridge is out of warranty so who cares and I'm an engineer so please be a technical as you want, the Whirlpool tech didn't strike me as someone too savvy.
For model number WRX986SIHZ01
Hi Magver, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, you may need to replace the water filter, part number PS11722126, to fix the issue. Before replacing it, we would suggest checking the water tubes associated with the dispenser to ensure they are not clogged. We hope this solves your problem!
