The machine stopped working in a normal ay. The little screen told us we had a lid lock problem. So we fixed it.
We disconnected the rear of the dashboard and folded it toward. We unsnapped the top cover and exposed the lid lock. We removed the old lid lock and replaced it with the new parts from SelectPart. Put it all back together.

How to install the lid lock striker?
For model number GTW680BSJ3WS

Hello Paula, Thanks for your question. You may need a screwdriver and pliers to remove the old strike by squeezing the locking tabs. From there, you can simply squeeze the new strike into place. Be sure to turn off your water supply and unplug the machine prior to installation. I hope this helps.

I need to know will the door striker help my washer to lock. I purchased the two parts and my washer still will not lock or will stop mid wash and then the entire washer shut off
