Excessive bearing noise and vibration likely cause bearing platform retainer assy. ?
For model number GTWN7450D0WW
Hi Hugh,
Thank you for your question. It could be the more likely cause but I would also suggest taking a look at your suspension springs. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When this machine agitate it make a very loud noise clicking sound only on wash cycle.
For model number GTWN7450D0WW
Hi John, Thank you for the question. I suggest removing the agitator and checking the Impeller insert, PartSelect Number PS8756953 that fits under the agitator. The tabs on the insert can wear down and cause the clicking you are hearing during the wash cycle. Hope this helps!
Washer drum vibrates badly during spin GTWN7450D0WW,
even with nothing in the drum. The suspension springs look ok. Could there be something else causing this or should i replace the drum bearing?

Hello Chuck and thanks for writing.
You might have to replace the bearings but before you do try leveling the unit first. See if this helps.Good Luck with your repair.

There is a recessed hexigonal nut securing the retainer assembly. Where to I get a wrench that will remove this nut?
For model number GTW860SSJ1WS
Hi Randy, thank you for the great question. According to our research on your model, the nut hub, part number PS8757009, should be removed using the impact driver with a 33mm socket. We hope this information is useful!
