Water not draining from the dishwasher
I watched the video and this was the easiest repair ever. Took longer to disconnect and reinstall than it did to change out the pump. Highly recommended watching the video
Drain Pump was giving off a burning smell. When I pulled the dishwasher out it had some light smoke coming from the Drain Pump
Shut the power to the dishwasher off. Pulled unit out from under the counter top and raised the left hand side up for easy access. Disconnected the wiring, undid the clips, turned counter clockwise and removed. Reversed the order for installation and Connected the power. Ran several cycles successfully. Problem fixed. I found instructions on line when I goggled my dishwasher name and model number with the words noisy door. There were three or four good suggestions at a couple of the sites I visited. I tried applying vasoline, then silicone to the rope where it travels through the plastic guides but that just cut the sound down about 50%. My dishwasher has plastic guides that look like rollers but they don't turn, they are fixed in place. The ropes squeak as the pass over the guides. The replacement part kit has plastic guides that turn like wheels now so the rope does not drag over them and squeak. This repair could be done by me in 20 minutes or less every time now that I know what I am doing.
I removed the black bottom metal cover then turned the nuts on the adjusting (leveling) bolts to lower the front end of the dishwasher so I could pull it out of the cabinet. Once I lowered is as low as it would go I opened the door and pushed down on it which tilts the dishwasher down and you pull out on it and the top lip clears the cabinet. If your dishwasher just pulls out the first time you try these steps may not be necessary. Once the dishwasher is out the guides and rope are down at the bottom in the front by the door. It's obvious what to do to replace them.
Old upper rack was rusted out in one too many spots
Just had to transfer all the kit parts from the old rack to the new one. It was important to leave one side of the kit parts(the wheel and other plastic pieces) on the old one while transferring the other side of the kit parts to the new rack so that I had a visual reference for placement and orientation of the parts on the new rack.

Although the lower rack was a slightly different style than our original, it fit the dishwasher perfectly. We needed to transfer the silverware racks to the new rack and insert one set of removable tines. About 5 minutes and we are very happy with the repair.
The repair was really easy. First disconnected electricity staring with fuses and removing wires from dishwasher, then disconnected drain hose and water hose. Pulled it out and removed pump turning clockwise no need for tools and same way installed new one. Very easy
You need to pull the unit out to get access to the spring connected to the rear leg frame. Use the everything in the kit. The rollers are upgraded and will guid the cable better.
Dish rack adjuster kit W10712394: I am a fully inexperienced and non-mechanical mom who needed her dishwasher during this holiday season! It took me a little longer and seemed a little harder than the description said it would - but not by much. The dishwasher is now better than it was when we bought it. Tip 1 - The original mechanism had no screws. The replacement kit does. The kit comes with a special screw that you will need in order to use a phillips screwdriver. It would have been helpful to know that before I tried to screw the screws in and stripped the first one because none of my screwdrivers fit. 2- Instructions aren't clear and photos are a little distorted (2D rather than 3D) for a novice. I wish I'd known this request for installation instructions was coming before I finished the project so I could have taken pictures. Tip - Take pictures to submit for installation instructions for others to appreciate. Would be nice to have some kind of perk to motivate people to do the work of clarifying instructions and submitting pictures. 3 - The part that locks the sliding mechanism into place is a little tricky. That step in the instructions needs some attention. I don't know how to clarify it further but other than the problem with the screws, this is the part that consumed time that an experienced dishwasher repair person might have breezed through.
