Hello Henry, Thank you for the question. Here are some steps a previous customer had posted on how they installed the part. 1. Removed mower deck per instructions in the manual. 2. Followed drag link to the connection. 3. Used 9/16 open end wrench to hold the nut, while using 3/4 inch socket to remove the bolt. Removed bolts from both ends of the drag link. 4. Removed old drag link, inserted the new one. 5. Used wrench and socket to tighten bolts. 6. Reattached mower deck. Hope this helps!
