Is this part number usually associated with the washer bottoming out on the bottom of the washer? Going to replace this and possibly the springs.

Hello Thomas, Thank you for your inquiry. This part goes right underneath the top panel, I am seeing on some models that getting this part can fix this issue. I would check both of the suspension rods and springs, and the tub straps. Hope this helps!
