The unit was working well......the storm resulted in a power loss for 5 days!.....when we finally got electricity back, the GE unit's both sections won't cool at all. the interior lights work and i can hear a fan running, but that's all.........why would the unit work well before the storm, but wouldn't cool at all after 5 days without power? thanks, david

Thank you for your inquiry. Your storm might have fried some of the electrical in the appliance. I would suggest testing your defrost thermostat, and temperature sensors inside of your appliance. If all of those parts check out, it may be your electronic control board that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.
