Throttle Trigger 518466004

This throttle trigger is an authentic manufacturer replacement part for chainsaws. It is connected to the carburetor and enables the user to control the speed and power output of the equipment engine. When the trigger is pressed, it opens the throttle valve which allows more fuel and air to enter the engine and increase its speed. The throttle trigger can fail due to mechanical damage, or normal aging. If the throttle is faulty, it can prevent the engine from running, or prevent the operator from controlling the equipment speed. Check that the chainsaw is switched off before beginning this repair. Remove the hardware that secures the trigger assembly to the handle and disconnect the throttle linkage. Carefully pull out the faulty trigger and position the new one in its place. Reconnect the throttle linkage and reinstall the appropriate fasteners.
