I’d the drain pump difficult to install?
For model number KDFE204KPS2
Hi Patricia, thank you for your inquiry. We are providing you with some instructions that might help you in replacing this part:
1) Unplug the unit and disconnect the water supply.
2) Unthread the mounting screws securing the lower access panels. Remove the outer panel along with the inner panel and the insulation.
3) Unthread the screws holding the terminal box and take it out.
4) Disconnect the drain pump wire connector, depress the retaining lever and rotate the old pump counterclockwise to detach it.
5) Now, install the new part by aligning it with the sump. Rotate it clockwise to lock it into place and reconnect the wire connector.
We hope this is helpful!
