Control panel on 6 year old dishwasher failed.
Appliance dealer informed us the part was no longer available. Doubting his word I looked it up on the Internet and found Part Select's great website. Located the part, ordered it and it arrived in an anamazing three days. With the help of two screwdrivers my 74 year-old husband replaced the part in about 45 minutes. He just studied t

Pushbutton panel stuck in "Lock" mode.
First I switched off the "Dishwasher" electrical breaker. I then removed the 7 screws holding the door panel together and lifted the inside panel, exposing the control assembly. I took a digital photo to document the wiring connections then pulled away the two clear plastic protective sheets and unscrewed the control assembly (two screws)

No lights no action. No response on control panel. Could it possibly be the door switch assembly. Machine is in great condition but over 15 years old. Wasn't used much for many years don't think it's worth replacing whole circuit board for over $300.00?
For model number Mdb7100awb
Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your question. The switches fix this issue the majority of the time, but there some other parts that you will need to check. You will need to check, the door handle, the electronic control board, the float switch and the limit thermostat. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Front panel is unresponsive; 5 of the lights across the panel stay on. None of the buttons (switches) does anything!!
For model number MDB7100AWW
Hello Robert, thank you for inquiring. You may want to replace the LED Main Control Board part PS11747721. If the machine is not starting at all, you may also need to replace either the Door Switches and Holder Assembly part PS2099645, the Door Switch part PS11747659, or the Latch Handle part PS11747644. We hope this helps.
