Light Noise
Its good to clean all the lint out the the dryer and vents on a yearly bases as to many years of lint build up can catch on fire and make a mess . Replacing the glides was easy . Make sure you clean all the old glue , so the pads stay in place as there need to compensate for minor frame to drum differences .

net . Once removed, I could remove old glides that were worn out and install the new ones. Before putting everything back together, I gave the cabinet a thorough vacuuming to remove all lint built up inside, checked electrical connections on heating unit and oiled back drum support rollers and belt idler roller. Next just reassembled everything in reverse order as was disassembled. Plugged cord back in and tested unit to make sure everything sounded good before drying any clothes.

Dryer made noises like metal on metal grinding
Unplugged the dryer then popped the top off and tilted it back, exposing the drum. Then using a flat bladed screw driver, removed the two sheet metal screws holding the front panel on. Once the front panel was removed, I pulled the drum off, exposing the motor and worn pulley. I removed the pulley arm, then removed the pulley. The bearing

s were totally gone, so I replaced it with a new pulley, replaced the belt and the front drum glides, since they were obviously worn. While it was apart, I cleaned out the interior with a shop vac, which greatly improved the efficiency of the dryer.
