With regard to our GE dishwasher, purchased june 2016, the bolt securing the upper spray arm (part no. 585) which goes through the center of of parts 570 & 571 into the end of 585 attaching/ securing the arm to the ceiling of the inside of the dishwasher. The parts function fine, it just makes a ton of noise in the first state of the wash program. I have checked all areas & filters at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Hi Cynthia, Thank you for the question. I am looking at the diagrams and I am not showing a bolt for the #585 conduit. I am showing the #585,570 and 571 clip together. If your appliance has a bolt, it may need to be tightened. If it is lose it might be vibrating and causing the noise. Hope this helps!
