clips on both end caps we broken and the crossbar kept falling off.
First i pulled the crossbar off the door, then I pulled both end caps off the crossbar and then I put the two new end cap on the crossbar and then tapped snoggly into place with the palm of my hand. Job done. took all of about 5 seconds.
frezzer iceing over and not cooling the refrigerator
Just removed the two screws and unpluged it. Then I pluged the new one in and replaced the screws. It runs like a brand new reffrigerator. Thanks for the fast delevery. Will do busness with you in the future.
The only problem I had was that the end cap was sent before the rack. This refrigerator is in our cottage and I brought up the end cap while waiting to receive the rack. I couldn't remember where I put the end cap, so when the rack came it took me a few weekends to find the end cap. Once I did, it took me less than 1 minute to repair. I put the rack on the end caps & pushed the end cap in place. DONE!
The defrost timer was right in front. 2 minutes and a screwdriver and I had it replaced.
To replace the thermostat, I had to take out the back panel, defrost it and then install the new part. the only problem was that the heatshrink tubing they sent was too large. Otherwise, it worked great.
Ordered the parts from the product discription (photo) as well as chart showing actual size. Got the parts( in two separate shipments) cut the bar to length and snapped them inot place. Bingo!
We Are Moving Out Of Military Housing And We Had To Replace The Freezer Door Holder Before We Moved Or We Would Have Had To Pay For The Wholr Refrigerator
We replace the end pieces to hook the holder back on the door.
All I had to do was change out motors, and the fam would spin right, and the freezer was alive again. With your older models you may have to re-mount the motor bracket in the back for the fan to clear, due to the fact that the motor sits alittle lower than the old model
Took off the old crisper drawer cover supports with the screw driver and put the new ones with the screw driver and small hammer (really easy)thank you to your installation instructions video.
freezer would not freeze longer than one day. after ten years without problem
pulled out freezer, went to floor, reached in next to compressor pulled off clip just like on the video.Pulled off old capacitator took off wire leads.Installed new one. Freezer runs great.Loaded it up with beef pork and venison. No problems.
Heater not coming on - coil frosting up- freezer and Refrig. warm
The instructions given to me by part Select were very good.I replaced the Timer- checked the heater with oham meter it was good- checked the door weather striping it was good and replaced the thermostat with new .So at this point I may need to call a professional unless some one has another solution.
