Easy as pie!
So easy I could do it! I pulled the old tube off (after having dirty dishes for weeks and not realizing it was because of a hole in the hose. When I told my husband I was going to call a repairman, he suggesting ordering the part on line and doing it ourselves - no reason not to! Piece of cake!
I removed the old hose, I lightly coated the id of the new tube with vasoline, both ends, and then heated the oblong end with the hair dryer to soften it and it slid on with litte force. The round end installed without heating.
I removed the old tube--I had taped over the hole. I didn't quite have the hand strength to fit over the ends and push the new tube into place. So, my husband did that at both ends without a problem. I'm relying on PartSelect for when I need parts for my 13 year-old appliances.
The rubber tube for the top rack was rotted in half, not allowing the dishes to properly be cleaned.
First the water tube arrived two days earlier than what I was expecting. I pulled the old tube off and slipped the new tube on by hand. The dishes in the top rack are now a lot cleaner than they have been for the past couple of months. In the future if I need repair parts this is where I will be coming to get them.
Dishwasher not cleaning as rubbr water tube cracked
I removed clips on the end of the rack, removed the rack, and pulled old tube off. Used plain water as a lubricant to ease replacement of new tube on the dilated end. Very easy!
In my case the rubber tube was so worn that it came off very easily. I removed the tube, then with a little cooking oil, I lubricated the new hose and easily slipped it into place. Now my dishwasher works great! I ordered the part received it and repaired it for less than $20.00 and in less than 15 minutes.
The Rubber water tube on my dishwasher was all torn up and I knew if I didn't replace it I would be in trouble.
I ordered the part and I received it in just 2 days. I took the old rubber water tube off, put a little soap on each end of the new tube and had it in in under 10 minutes. I am a woman in her 60's and I did this myself!
Rubber tube deteriorated and top rack kept jamming
First I pulled off the tube that was hanging down and obstructing the rotation of the top spinner. Then I just reinserted the new tube. I'm a "do it your selfer" and I usually fix things by my self. But the few times that I've failed lived forever in my wife's memory. She dreaded my fooling with a machine that had outlived it's life. I promised that the job would only take about five minutes. She heard this before and resigned herself to having parts all over the kitchen floor and a full day of catastrophe. There is nothing like a satisfied wife. Thanks to You and your Staff, I have now regained my rightful place as her trusted HERO.. ,
