Hello and happy new year. The inside water dispenser has started to drip, very slowly but just enough to leave a small puddle. Not sure on where to start, but i am very handy. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for your question. If there is water leaking from the water dispenser in the refrigerator, then it is likely the switch that operates the solenoid valve for the water and ice. This switch provides power to the solenoid water valve and it opens to allow water pressure to push water through the water filter and through the tubing to the area where the drip is taking place. If the ice dispenser is working correctly and there are no leaks, then the issue is with the water inlet valve and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Just in the past day, our inside-the-fridge water dispenser has begun to sputter slightly when the button is pushed and then it takes a few seconds for the water to come out of it full force. It only happens when we haven't used it for at least a few minutes or more. If we use it back-to-back, it comes out full force right off, as it always has until literally yesterday. We use it a lot, and so i imagine we've just worn out the button. There is no water to be seen on the floor or anywhere else. We haven't done anything like move the fridge or anything else at all. It just simply began acting up out of the blue. Any thoughts as to what is happening and why? Thank you! --john
