If i replace the circuit board will this fix the issue of the dryer continuing to run unless i unplug it? Serial number is y7d75auf405433j. It is a Samsung dryer.
For model number DV50F9A6EVW/A2
Hello Nathan, Thank you for the question. If the appliance continues to run and will not turn off on its own at the end of the cycle, it indicates an issue with the timer. The timer on this model is built into the control board, so the board will need to be replaced. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

I have 120 volts at one end of my heating element. No voltage ( 120 ) on the other side this coming from the control board. Will this $$ fix my problem and what all other safety devices does it control?
For model number DV50F9A8EVP/A2
Hi George,
Thank you for your question. To test the heating element, set your multimeter to the R x 1 resistance scale. Touch each meter probe and to one end of the element. If you receive a reading of infinite resistance, then your heating element is no longer functioning properly and you will have to replace it. If it checks out fine and if it checks out fine the issue is likely the control board and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
