About a month ago i purchased a refrigerator door bin for my sons Samsung fridge. Before i made the purchase, i sent in a question and asked if it would work since the picture didn't show the silver band. The answer i received said that it would and just to snap it in. When we received the part, it looked like it would fit but when we tried to snap it in, it wouldn't quite go. How do we go about getting the correct part?

Hello Ronda, thank you for your question. The right hand fridge door uses the same bin, part number DA97-08406A, This comes with the white plastic bin, clear front, and has a silver trim on it. This part would slide into the door and then down onto the brackets. Please contact customer service to return the part you have an reorder the correct part. I hope this helps!

I believe that i've found the door bin cover that i need for my son's refrigerator but i'm a little afraid to order it because i don't really know much about parts. Can you tell me how to attach it if i do order it? I looks like there is a silver band around the bottom on his fridge but i doubt that comes with what i'm ordering. If the band isn't necessary to hold the cover on, i don't want it anyway. I just want to make sure i'm getting what i need so that the cover will attach and stay on. Thank you!
