The dryer light comes on but not the control panel any ideas what part I need
For model number dlg2302r
Hello Mary, Thank you for the question. If the appliance is getting power and powering on, but the display is not turning on, you may need to replace the PCB Display Board Manufacturer Part Number EBR36858901. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
Two issues. Dryer will frequently not start. The only thing that allows the dryer to continue to operate is to run the calibration cycled ( hold down temp control and damp dry beep) which will fail on flow but will allow the dryer to continue to operate for 1 to 2 weeks. Occasionally while attempting to run the calibration cycle, the cycle will not start after an indeterminate number for temps I can always get it to start but that has been 15, 20 or even more attempts.
Is it the PCB?
For model number dlg5966w
Hi Nicholas, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the main PCB assembly, part number PS3533743, can cause this issue. You may need to replace it. We hope this solves your problem!
