Hi: The timer wasn't advancing on this model. We replaced the door latch assembly and striker pins, but it didn't solve this problem. When it hangs up, notably before the final spin, if you carefully manually move the timer ahead one notch, the cycle advances. Does this sound as if the timer needs to be replaced and do you have a video of this job? We have it installed as a stackable unit with the matching dryer on top. I can have a friend help me move the machines out, figure out how they're attached, and separate them. While out of the closet (where i assume they've been since 2008), i also want to replace the old rubber fill hoses with longer braided ones to make any future repairs easier. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Bill griffith, naples, fl

Hi Bill,
Thank you for your question. It does sound like the there is an issue with the timer. Try the timer on a different drying cycle to see to if it runs the full cycle. If it does then the timer will need to be replaced. The part number for the braided fill hoses is PS8760368. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Barry, thank you for your question. Usually when you are having an issue like this, the part to check would be your door lock. If that part is not working correctly it will not allow your appliance to continue into the spin cycles. You may also want to take a look at your belt as well. Belts generally wear down over time and need to be replaced. Good luck with your repair.
