The timer knob just turns and doesn't catch to turn the dishwasher on. After player with the soap dish door on the inside, you can get it to catch so you can turn it on. Does that require the entire timer or another part that is not as expensive?

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. You would either have to replace your timer knob, timer cam, or your timer itself. You should be able to see if the timer cam or knob are worn down. If they are both fine then it is likely your timer you will have to replace. Good luck with your repair.
