Need to know how to replace ice maker motor
For model number GFSS6KKYCSS
Hi Doug, Thank you for the question. Remove the ice bin and look on the left lower part of the ice there is a screw that holds a panel in place. Remove the screw and the panel. Once removed you can pull out the wiring for the icemaker and disconnect it. Push the tab on the top of the icemaker down and pull forward on the icemaker. Once the icemaker is removed, there will be a tab on the left side of the auger housing that you can push inward and pull forward on the auger housing to remove. This will give you access to replace the motor. Hope this helps!
