I have replaced the lower spray arm twice due to the metal clamps at the end of the arm falling off, which resulted in the spray arm melting on one spray arm. Additionally, when I go to empty the ASM basket there is always water in the basket that has not drained. I have a lot of parts in my shopping basket, but I am not sure they are really what I need. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Barbara, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking that the lower spray arm is tight and adjusted properly on the diverter valve. If the issue still persists, you may need to replace the diverter valve, part number PS12743165. For drainage of basket problem, we would recommend checking the fine filter and basket assembly, part number PS16217023. It removes food particles and debris from the water to prevent the drain from clogging. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

How do you know if the water diverted assembly is bad or not? It does not appear damaged and my dishwasher just stopped supplying adequate water pressure to mid arm assembly to allow it to turn. It acts like the ball is alway blocking water away from upper flow. Lower arm turns fine and mid arm seems to turn freely and does not appear blocked

Hi Brad, thank you for reaching out. To check diverter assembly is good, check it for water flow and not clogged. Also, check the mid-conduit assembly is not clogged. If not clogged, replace the mid-conduit assembly, part number PS16542477. We hope this helps!
