Whirlpool dryer not drying completely when mixed with clothes and towels. I don't see how to test the moisture sensor. Can you provide recommendations for trouble shooting the issue and testing the sensor? Is there testing thru the dryer control panel or using a meter?
For model number WED8500DC4
Hello David, thank you for your question. The first things that come to mind are that the loads are too big. Or, the lint filter and hose may need to be cleaned. The " moisture Sensor" Electrode is part PS12348005. You need to know how to test a Whirlpool dryer moisture sensor. You can perform a sensor test simply by running a wet load through the dryer and checking it frequently to determine exactly when the clothes are dry enough. If the dryer is still running after the clothes are dry, you should replace the sensor. We hope this helps.
