The Freezer compartment works fine. the fresh food compartment is warm
If the fan on the COVR EVAP assembly stopped spinning would this cause this?
For model number ABE21DGKARWS
Hi Matthew,
Thank you for your question. If the fresh food section of the refrigerator is too warm and the fan blade on the evaporator fan motor has stopped spinning, then cold air would not circulate into the fresh food section. Check the blade to see if it is damaged or if there is anything obstructing it. If there is ice buildup, you may need to defrost the refrigerator. If there is nothing physically wrong with the motor or the fan blade you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter. If the evaporator fan motor is fine, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will also need to check the housing control, the air tower, the capacitor, the overload, the main electronic control board and the condenser fan motor. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check most of these parts. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
