The steam vent on this dishwasher leaks when the door is fully open. My suspicion is that the vent needs to be removed and replaced. I do not know how to remove the vent cover.

Hello David, thank you for your question. The vent will probably have to be removed and replaced by removing the inner door panel. The screws are around the inner edge of the inner door panel and once that is removed the vent can be accessed. The deflector is held into place by clips which can be depressed and the deflector pushed out of the inner panel. I hope this helps!
