Trying to replace my Timer-Knob Assembly WPW10110030. Shouldn't the old one just pop right off. I hate to use a lot of force to get it off. Thought I would check with you first. Watched a video and on there, they said it should just pop right off and the new one would just pop right on!!! Any suggestions!
For model number MED5600TQ0
Hello Michelle, thank you for your inquiry. You just need to pull the old knob from the shaft. You can also try prying off with a knife. If this does not help, you can start by removing the rear console panel to access the shaft. Use a small brush and some mild detergent to clean the shaft and surrounding area. Then, use a lubricant, such as silicon spray or a light oil, to lubricate the shaft and surrounding area and then try to remove it. We hope this sorts out your problem!
