The top burners work but my oven will not work-is this the part i need for the oven?
For model number RF364PXPQ2
Hi Patti,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly or not working, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multimeter. When testing the sensor with a multimeter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If this checks out okay, then you will need to check the electronic control board, the terminal block, the bake element, the safety thermostat and the light socket. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

would this be the part I need? I was preheating the oven we heard a pop and everything on the stove shut off. When the circuit was turned back on sparks flew out of the circuit area.
For model number RF368xpq1
Hi Lawrence, thank you for reaching out. You will need to inspect the oven inside, to see if there are damaged or burned-out parts and wires. You will need to check both the bake and broil elements and look for any burn-outs or damages. If you don't see any physical damage, you will need to do a continuity test using a multimeter. If both the elements are in good shape and have continuity, then the issue is with the oven control board. We hope this information is useful!
