Hi, the ice maker over flows with water, is it the water valve or the ice maker timer?Thank you
For model number KSSP42QMS01
Hi Bill,
Thank you for your question. The issue is likely the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to shut off properly. If the water pressure is too low, the valve may not close fully once the power is shut off. This will cause the valve will leak water into the ice maker and cause the ice maker to overflow. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I replaced a filter about a month ago. ice maker stopped making ice around that time. I cked the censor and its ok. I bled the line taking air out of it. It seems no water is getting to the ice maker. everything else looks good.
What else can it be?

Hi Yehudah, thank you for contacting us. It is most likely that the water inlet valve, part number PS11739129, is damaged and needs to be replaced. It is also a good idea to check the ice maker control assembly, part number PS2341896. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Hello, my built in refrigerator water dispenser is leaking down the front of the fridge. It drips. On this built in model where is the water inlet valve located? Do you have a video or is it best to have a professional install. I thought the refrigerator had to be pulled out to get to. I will also check the filter to see if it is damaged in the morning.

Hello Eric, thank you for your question. Taking a closer look at the following parts will help you fix your problem: the water inlet valve, part number PS11739129, and the water filter, part number PS11722132. Also make sure the water tube kit, part number PS11730901, is not leaking. For your assistance, we have attached a link to the schematic that shows the position of the water inlet valve, which is near the ice maker. We hope this information helps!
The water dispenser on the freezer door is very slow. Would replacing the water inlet valve increase the flow?
For model number KSSS48QMX00
Hi Ryan, thank you for the question. First, you may need to make sure that there is no issue with the home water supply. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS11739129, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this sorts out your problem!
