I have a Frigidaire electric double wall oven model #PLEB27T9DCC, serial #NF60918333, date March 2006. Occasionally, the lower oven would experience temperature “run-away”. I tried shutting off the power to reboot the system. It helped for a while, but then it happened again. 3 years ago, I replaced the oven temperature sensor #316217002 and calibrated the oven temperature. A year later, the broiler would come on when just the oven was on and cause another “run-away”. I disconnected the broiler element to stop the broiler from coming on with the oven. The “run-away” still occurred even with the broiler disconnected. Assuming that the temperature sensor is still good, I am left with replacing the relay board #316443901 or the control board #316443802. Any advice on the cause of the problem or what might fix it. We suggest that you check the control board, part number PS1152262, and the terminal block kit, part number PS471605, and replace the defective part as these could be the culprits of temperature run-away.
