Machine makes noise only when in fill cycle ( start cycle)
No noisy at drain cycle any idea it’s a Bosch dishwasher

Hi James,
Thank you for your question. If you hear a loud noise when the dishwasher is filling with water, it may be the water inlet valve closing. This will cause the water pipes to rattle and you will hear a hammering noise. We hope this helps!

I used a wet vac to remove the water from the dishwasher. remove cover and filter/strainer from bottom of dishwasher. remove screw which allows you to lift the plastic piece to access check valve. Original check valve looked like new , I installed new check valve re installed parts . Job done and issue resolved .

The old Tine holders used on the upper and lower dish rack dried up and cracked/broke. So I purchased new Tine holders for the upper and lower racks and snapped the new parts in place.
