I removed the one screw holding cover in place contained the thermostat . Next , I removed the thermostat from the plastic housing. NO screws, it just clippped in. I replaced the old with the new and reinstalled the cover. 2 minutes max. Sears said the part was obsolete but Partselect had what I needed.
