Can oven drawer be removed, to replace gas igniter?
For model number FFGF3017LBF
Hello Enrique, thank you for reaching out. You do not need to remove the drawer to replace the igniter. We have found some relevant instructions for replacing the oven igniter. These instructions may not be of the same exact model, but will help you with the process. Unplug the appliance. Open the oven door. Rotate both the door hinge locks back. Partially close the door, then lift and pull the door toward you to remove. Slide out the oven racks. Remove the screws securing the oven's bottom panel. Lift the panel up from the back to remove. Un-thread the nut to release the burner shield. Un-thread the screw securing the wire cover. Move the cover out of the way, then depress the tabs to disconnect the igniter wire connector. Detach the wires from the oven safety valve terminals. Un-thread the screws to release the burner tube. Now un-thread the mounting screws to release the old igniter. Follow the same steps backward to install the new igniter. Glad to be of help!
