The washer will often leave water in the tub after a completed cycle. In the past, resetting to drain and spin has completed the cycle. I ordered a timer, not yet installed. However, today the reset drain and spin is not working. It is spinning, very slowly, not enough to empty the tub. Thoughts?

Hi Bill, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend you check the drain pump, part number PS3654194. It expels water from your washing machine during the draining cycle. We hope this solves your problem!

I changed the timer unit but it will not count down and go through the rest of the cycles. It does not draw water in the water cycle on the faceboard, and it is not lining up and going through the normal cycles. Can you help?
PartSelect logo
Hello Albert, Thanks for your question. You may wish to use a multimeter to test the lid switch, water level control, drain pump, and water inlet valve for electrical continuity. Replace any that do not show continuity. Examine the timer knob as well for any signs of wear and tear. The specific part numbers for each of these will depend on your washer's model number. I hope this helps.
