The water line coming from the top of the back of the fridge, top left hand corner is a 3/8 or 5/16 line and my input water line is 1/4 inch. The grey hose hanging there behind the fridge has has a knub, round ring, about 1-2 inches from the end. It looks like it should have been connected to something. How do i connect it to have it function properly?

Hello Michael, thank you for your question. The Water tube that goes from water valve to ice maker fill tube at the top of the back of the fridge is part number WPW10238092. This replaces the tube with an Elbow. It no longer has a bend at one end. Remove the water line from the valve, and replace it with this part number. The tube should be long enough to run up the back of the fridge and into the water fill cup for the icemaker. I hope this helps!
