I have a Maytag cook top unit. How do i remove the glass control panel, trim control, and push clip. I need to replace the burner switch # wp7403p367 60. I would appreciate any help i can get with this. Thank you!
For model number CSG5600CAD

Hi Pete, thank you for your question. You may need to take a putty knife to pop the trim out of place. I could suggest putting a bit of tape over the blade of the knife to dull it so that you do not scratch your appliance. However the trim just pops out of place and the panel underneath of that does the same. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When I turn on the knob to light one burner, the igniter is not sparking. However, if I turn on a knob for the different burner, the igniter sparks on the one that wasn't sparking. Do you know what could be causing this?
For model number csg7000cae

Hello Brian,
Thanks for your question!
The problem is likely the spark ignition module - PartSelect Number: PS2003170 is not functioning properly.

How do I remove the burner switch from the cooktop
For model number CSG7000

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for your question. You will have to remove your cooktop from your counter. Once you do that you should be able to unscrew the screws that keep your glass top attached to the bottom of the cooktop. Then you will be able remove the switch from your appliance and install the new one. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
