    Why is cube ice stuck in between flap and chute
    For model number 106.50022210
    Hi Sheldon, Thank you for your question. If ice is getting stuck in the chute the underlying reason why this is happening is the flapper does not open wide enough and it also is having a problem sealing with the inner door chute. If the chute door is not opening, the problem could be a defective or stuck solenoid or it may not be getting any voltage to it. The solenoid will need to be checked. I hope this helps.     Cannot switch from crushed ice to cube ice. Is this likely the solenoid?

    Ice dispenser is very noisy. Could it be the motor or solenoid

    My ice maker does not make more ice cubes. Can you help?

    Hello Jack, Thanks for your question. You may want to test the water inlet valve for continuity with a multimeter and replace it if it shows no continuity. If the valve is fine, consider replacing the water filter or the icemaker itself. I hope this helps.

    Currently the ice dispenser, water dispenser and the light in the door are not working. I tested continuity for the 4 switches and they are good. I then tested the water valves, one(ice maker) tested continuity and one(ice dispenser) did not. Though suspicious, i assumed that was part of the problem and ordered one from you. New one tested the same so it was not .... i installed it anyway. still all three door operations are inoperable. seems like an electrical issue/fuse ... can you offer any suggestions so i can order what i need or perform more testing. thank you much! micky

    Hi Micky, Thank you for your question. There is really only one part that connects those three functions and that would be your control board. That is the only other part that I could think of other than the wiring perhaps. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

        Ice maker would only deliver crushed ice not cube's
        Switched Electric breaker to off. Removed all food and ice cube tray from freezer. Remove 4 screws on soleniod cover in rear of freezer. Removed two screws, two elec connectors from old soleniod and removed. Installed new soleniod. Reinstalled elec connectors and screws, ice cube tray and food. Turned breaker on . Ice maker worked properly.
