Ice deflector had broken.
Removed ice tray and unbolted front cover. Removed broken piece and snapped new ice deflector in place. Reinstalled front cover and put ice tray back into freezer. Cycled crushed ice, works great!

ice maker Going out , Broken ice bin dispenser
Old ice maker was beyond repair.I replace it with a new one.Removal and installation about 30 min.It was nice to know that there was video on line if needed.The ice bin problem was in the crusher,cube feed area.It took me about 30min.to take it apart.And 40min. to put it back together.All part fit and is working prefect.I must say the fee

The Ice Maker Deflector Broke and Needed Replacing
I first removed the ice bin from freezer. There were four nut screws on back of ice bin cover that I removed with a screw driver, giving me access to the deflector. The deflector has two prongs that attach it securely to the ice bin, I used a phylips head screw driver to release the prongs from the deflector. I installed the new deflector
... Read more by placing it through the bottom portion of deflector area, using the phyllips screw driver I engaged the prongs of the deflector into slots on ice bin. There was a hook on the back side of the deflector that went over a metal rod that controls the ice cube release. Then replace front cover of ice bin with the four nut screws and returned it to the ice maker location.

Drum and broken deflector
Remove the screws and detach the cover. loose the spring and unscrew backwards the plastic nut to release the drum. Un ensemble the blades and release the drum and the deflector replace new parts and ensemble again all the parts.
