E23CS78GPS0 Electrolux Refrigerator - Instructions

Had to disassemble the entire ice maker bucket. Simple and straightforward, didn't need any pictures or reference materials. Just time consuming.

Ordered new ribbon cable. At first I couldn't figure out how to get the wide end of the ribbon cable off, and I took the whole inner circuit board out - in fact, all it needed was more muscle, a straight pull out, no clips or anything holding it in other than friction. The narrow end attached to the control button board has two clips which pull towards you to loosen the ribbon. Easy install, worked perfectly

Did not repair, sensor was not located where you said, wrong sensor was sent to me, can't return oe exchange it COSTERMER SERVICE WILL NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS.

Easy to order on line. Access to schematics let me pick the right part.Fast delivery in two days. Easy to install. slide up and out . Slide new one in.

Removed old water valve w/ screwdriver, cut threads off old hose (as they just plug straight into new valve) & pushed hoses into new water valve. Solved both problems!!!!

Old valve comes out with 2 screws, water lines removed and reinstalled on new valve just as they came off the old valve. Entire job took less than 10 minutes. Very easy replacement.

Just push the button on the top right hand and pull the filter out; then proceed to instal the new one pushing it in place. It's really an easy operation!!

I removed the door (2 minutes) by removing the door hinge cover (one cross-tip screw) and then loosened the tuo hinge mounting bolts. I then removed the broken bearing hinge and plate (3 minutes) from the bottom of the door and installed the bearing and plate, and then re-installed the door (2 minutes). My four-year-old helped me.

The part arrived in about 2 days! The right side support that is attached to the inside wall of the refridgerator, that holds the crisper guide, broke apart and would not support the crisper. We took everything off of that shelf and took out the crisper and the glass that is on the shelf. We then carefully pried the support from the interior wall (it was a slow tedious move to be sure we did not damage the wall of the fridge). We made sure all of the pieces were out and snapped the new one into place. For some reason the old one did not want to come out. It broke into many pieces and we carefully pulled all of the little pieces out of the notches

Called "local" repair warehouse and ordered part. They shipped the wrong part. Went on-line to Part Select and got the right part.

Remove screws under tray and trim piece. Lift up and remove face plate. Disconnect flat bundled wires and tape off. Remove ground wires. Remove face plate. Remove dispenser assembly. Remove and replace actuator. Reassemble.

repaced ice/water filtration (by pass ) hopeing it would fix problem . was not sucessful !

I watched the video and followed every step as outlined. It worked perfect, until I reconnected the supply line to my triple water valve. I used the old compression fitting and the compression nut. I should have cut the line and installed a new fitting and nut. The water on the floor the next morning reminded me of that. So back out I went and replaced the compression fitting and it has been as good as new. The ice maker took a few cycles to work again, I think it needed to fill the line with water first. But I have a huge sense of pride every time I hear water dispenced or ice dump in the freezer. Thanks for the help and encouragement!

Just slipped them into place. Very simple. Thanks for getting me the correct shelves. You guys were my 3rd attempt to get correct shelves. Thanks!

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.
