No High Speed Spin
It would agitate but not the final spin and no code on display or l. E. D. The led worked I had a green one on inverter I found that the fuse (in the wiring behind front panel )was blown or open probably a electron blew the fuse lol well then I replaced the fuse with an automotive fuse holder and installed a 10 amp fuse which was blown and went through the test cycle and I got nothing for agitate or spin (dohh) so the chart and online said bad motor / inverter I ordered one and received it in 4 days installed in 20 minutes and went through the test cycle with red l. E. D. And it passed so I reasembled took out my fuse and installed a jumper where the fuse was as instructed in literature with the new motor and im doing laundry again thank you

One of the paddles broke from washing something that wedge in between one of the paddles and side of tub. Which broke the blade. Order the the part from Parts Select. Watched the Video how to change the Agitator. It was as easy as they said. Repaired it myself for least than $50.00.
Pull the Agitator out by hand no tools where needed. Took Fabric Softer dispenser off put it on new Agitator. Pushed the new Agitator on. Repair done. Sure am happy I did it myself. Service charge from repair company would have been a lot more then $50.00.

Washer would not spin or agitate
A neighbor was getting rid of a non functioning washer that was a little over a year old and asked if I wanted it. I tinkered with it a bit, checking the obvious ie: belt ,voltage. I found Parts Select's site online and followed the troubleshooting videos and posts. To make a long story short it turned out to be an in-line thermal fuse. I now have a " new" washer thats working great. I also needed to replace the drain hose. All the parts from Parts Select were shipped quickly and authentic GE parts. Awesome, informative site. Thanks Parts Select !!

Loud noise when the machine was spinning and water leakage.
I followed the repair video at PartSelect.com The split ring was heavily corroded, and broken, just as in the video. I had some difficulty removing the tub seal, and the tub bearing, as they were a much tighter fit than demonstrated in the video. I was able to remove the tub bearing without damaging the outer tub by using a large socket, and tapping the tub bearing out. The transmission's ball bearing had failed due to water leakage, and was making noise. I had to replace the transmission as well. It seems as if the water seal in the machine is not adequate for this job. The washer now operates like new, but I know it will not last. It is my habit to change every repair part involved in a repair like this, so that I will not need to open the machine again. I did not change the 6 rib belt because the new belt did not fit. It had a different part number than the original.

Water was leaking at bottom of washer around bottom of tub
I followed the instruction videos on the web site & when I had the tub out I found a slight build up on shaft where sear rides. I used some emery cloth to clean the build up off so seal would work properly. I made a wrench from 1/4 x 2" x 18" flat bar & cut the center to fit the new nut for the tub. Would suggest if you don't have the ability to make one then purchase one as it is almost impossible to remove the nut any other way. Washer is working great again. We have purchased a key pad for our microwave, parts for a air conditioner & a pump for a washer which we still have as the service man told us ours was bad but found out it only had a guitar pick caught in the impeller.

Leaking Drain Hose
Simple fix, unscrew the old hose. Exchange hoses. Screw new hose back in. The only thing to remember is to insert the hose to the second notch. It will leak water from the back of the machine if only the first notch is inserted.

Agitator not working, spin cycle ok.
Removed agitator by pulling up, wiggle to and fro, watch out for unexpected release. Agitator coupler was worn, stripped splines. 7\16 socket, long extension to remove bolt in coupler. Install new coupler, new bolt, then line up agitator to splines on agitator coupler and push to snap in place.

The gear agitator had striped. Wouldn't spin the blades to wash the clothes.
I pulled up on the fin part of the agitator exposing the gear coupling. I unbolted the nut on top with a 12 mm socket. Once the nut and washer were removed I pulled up on the gear coupling and slid it right off. Reversed procedures to install the new one.
