(39)
PartSelect Number PS11750107
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10196405
This manufacturer-certified drip bowl is also known as a drip pan, and it is designed for use with cooktops and ranges. It sits below 8-inch burner elements and catches drips and spills from the cookware on the burner. The diameter of the drip bowl is approximately 10 inches. This replacement might appear slightly different, but it will fit your appliance. You will need no tools to complete this repair. Simply remove the burner element, remove the old bowl, line up the hole on the new bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. Make sure the bowl is flat before reinstalling the element. While you have the element out you should inspect the terminals for corrosion, damage, or discolouration. If you notice any of those things you should also replace the element and terminal block. You will need to replace your drip bowl if it is lost, damaged, or can no longer be cleaned. This replacement part is sold individually. To extend the life of your new drip bowl we recommend you clean it regularly with soap and water. We recommend only using the recommended drip bowl for your appliance; generic versions will not fit properly which could affect the performance of your elements and cause long-term damage.

I needed drip bowls that fit properly
I ordered gray enamel drip bowls and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately 2 of them were chipped and bent slightly. They still worked which was better than the make shift ill fitting ones that came with the house so I decided to keep them. I did tell parts select about it and they sent me a new order of drip pans at no charge. I used the perfect ones but the 8" drip pans flaked off paint after one use. I guess this is an Amana defect...the paint doesn't stick under heat. Read more...

Manufacturer Part Number WPY0060872
The drip pan is found under the burner. This square chrome stovetop drip pan is intended for use with gas ranges. It has a 4-inch diameter center hole and 7 3/4 inch sides. Drip pans should be cleaned regularly, and replaced when too much food has been burned and stuck to it, making it too hard to clean. You should replace your drip pan if it is rusted or damaged. Grease, oil, and food can spill into your unit and become a fire hazard. This drip pan is dishwasher safe and is sold individually.

Replaced ignitor - natural gas oven
Oven was lighting slowly and finally just stopped lighting. I ordered and replaced old ignitor with a new one. The actual repair is pretty easy. However, this is the second one I purchased, the first one was broken by me while inserting it into bracket. The active part of the ignitor (the part that heats up) is extremely fragile, more fragile than fluorescent bulb glass. Do not allow it to touch anything while inserting it. Do not drop, even a few inches. The ceramic housing meanwhile is indestructible. The wires won't have connectors on the ends so, you need to get some heat resistant wire nuts and heat resistant tape to safely splice the wires back onto the old wire mount points. Or, If you wish, you can make new connectors and wrap in asbestos sheaths and re-attach to the oven. There does not seem to be a pattern to replacing the wires in the right order. Just as long as they both are securely connected. The bracket is held by 3 screws, easy to remove and replace. You'll need to remove the old ignitor and replace the new one the same way. The elements are not screwed in, they just slide in. The old ignitor was really tight. Take care and spread bracket apart and old ignitor will slide out. The new one goes in the same way.
