It is a Y-frame surface burner element with five turns and a metallic center medallion. When completing this repair, if you notice any signs of corrosion or overheating on the terminal, you may want to consider replacing the terminal block as well as the surface element. a plug on the element broke off while cleaning and replacing
Absolutely no tools required for this task. Simply align the prongs to the female portion on the stove top. Carefully push in until the element is in place then line up with the drip pan slot. No instructions are necessary!!

I had to replace my drip pans as well as the heating elements on all four burners
Very simple to replace, pull off the old element and push in the new one. Not only was it super easy, part select was so easy to work with. I had placed the order wrong, and immediately called customer service. They cancelled my order and placed the new one, refunding my money within 2 business days for the wrong order. Courteous, friendly and prompt. I would highly recommend them! Oh, I forgot to mention that the parts actually fit perfectly, unlike drip pans bought elsewhere. Thank you, Sincerely, Cindy

Plug-in surface element was covered with a melted on forever microwave plate
Just put it right into the receptacle. I want to add...we had gone to our local appliance store and brought home a wrong-size unit. Got online and your website came up. It was easy to find the correct part, ordered it and it arrived 3 days later. I have already recommended your website to 2 of my friends. One very good experience!!!
