Hi Terry, Thank you for your question. Your dryer naturally produces moisture as hot air combines with wet clothes in the drum. The moisture will eventually filter out through the exhaust system. If there is an obstruction in the exhaust system, this can cause moisture to build up in the duct and drain back into the dryer. One way to keep your dryer from producing moisture is to periodically clean its exhaust system. You should clean the entire exhaust system once every two years. If you use the dryer a lot, you will need to clean it more frequently. Please consult your owner's manual for information on how to do this. Make sure that the duct is is not straight or supported.
