The washer does not spin on spin cycle and there is a burning smell coming from it. What part do I need to get to get this fixed?

Hello John, thank you for your question. A burning smell coming from the washing machine during or after the spin cycle can indicate that the drain pump has become seized. Part number PS11769645. Based on the description that you have provided, your model does not come with a filter for the water fill process, the part you mentioned is for the drain hose extension. We would recommend checking the water fill hose is not clogged or kinked. If it is good, then the issue seems to be with one of the water inlet valves. Most of the time only the COLD water is slow to fill or the HOT water is slow to fill, not both at the same time. Test both HOT and COLD water fills to see which one is faulty and needs replacement. The COLD water inlet valve is part number PS12348073, and the HOT water inlet valve is part number PS12348074. We hope this solves your problem!
