Light switch in the refrigerator was faulty from the first day we installed the fridge.
I had ordered some other parts for something entirely different off your website and service was great. So after almost ten years of a dark refrigerator, because of a defective switch, I decided to see if you had the part to fix it... You did and the part got here in 3 days. I had a working light switch and all the light in the world where my husband needed it most (in the fridge). It took me at the most ten minutes to replace the part. All is well now and I have a happy husband who can find the leftovers just fine. Thanks for your great service!

rust on the shaft in bottom drawer freezer
Thanks to a very patient husband. He looked at the situation and methodically took the freezer drawer apart by trial and error and was able to replace the old shaft with the one we had ordered. We do not understand why this basic information is not in the manual or on the internet. It was relatively easy once we knew in what order to take the drawer apart.

Drawer guides were broken
Drawer guides on the bottom of the crisper frame could not be glued back into place. The replacement frame arrived in 1 day. Be gentle removing crisper vent shutters, trim, and the metal reinforcement channel from the old frame! Re-install them on the new frame then hang the assembly in the fridge. Slide the drawers and glass back into place. I added a dab of clear silicone grease (bulb and socket lube)on each drawer slide.

broken interior panel - end cap
removed bins and meat/cheese cover. Removed slider with two screws. Removed broken end cap with two screws. There is a plastic linkage to a vent in the rear. Removed three pieces from inside the end cap. These are are all snap-in parts, but require manipulation. Took some time to figure out. Same on reinstall. Cleaned up drawers and cover. Easy!

Broken deli drawer lid holding pin
Replaced part--4 hexhead screws. This is my third time changing this part (right and left) and was happy to see that an obviously under-engineered design has been modified. The pin bracket has been reinforced and appears much stronger. The most time consuming portion of the fix was cleaning off the shelves for removal. Thanks for asking. Norm Notdurft

Light switch which turns on the lights when the door opens went out
This is an easy fix, simply remove and replace. What I was impressed with is that a how to video was provided along with my part. I wish all manufactures would offer this, the video was easy to understand and you had a good view of the operation. Thanks, a job well done.

I broke the switch pulling the freezer basket out.
I watched the on line you tube video on how to DIY. The putty knife worked to pop out the switch. I used the standar screwdriver to unplug the switch from the wire harness. Then plug in the new switch and pop it back in to the roof of the freezer. Tip: watch out when ordering the new switch - the freezer switch is different than the refrigerator switch. The freezer has three prongs. The fridge has two. I initially ordered the wrong part and added a week to the repair time and had to pay shipping to return the first switch.
