Oven not heating although the broiler did heat.
Turn off range circuit breaker; remove and save nuts holding old element; disconnect old element from wires; connect new element to wires; tighten new element in using the nuts you have kept. Turn on the breaker, turn on your oven. WARNING: INSULATION SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY FROM CONNECTED WIRES, OTHERWISE IT BURNS WHEN OVEN IS TURNED ON AND YOU WILL HAVE TO UNDO THE NEW ELEMENT AND PUSH THE INSULATION OUT OF THE WAY AND THEN REDO THE NEW ELEMENT.

It took longer to watch the video on how to replace the hinges than it did to replace them. Simple and easy. Video knocked it out of the park for ease. And now the oven door works great! thanks!!!! Video suggested if you're replacing one side do both, couldn't agree more.
