Number touch pad would only work on #4 and #1

First turn off circuit breaker to stove. Slide the stove out about 4 inches from the counter to expose the two phillips head screws, one on the left side and one on the right side of touch panel. Take out screws. Then take out four Phillip head screws on the bottom side of panel, this will set panel loose from stove. Carefully pull up touch pad (switch membrane) from control panel; it is sticky glued in place. Disconnect ribbon cables on switch membrane from control panel by depressing cable locks while pulling firmly. Remove switch membrane. Clean area before installing new membrane. Stove top worked. When the oven turned on the timer would come on for the pre-heat but the oven never warmed up.

After I confirmed that the hearing elements weren't bad I started following wires and ended up at the control panel. After confirming with a multi meter that the elements weren't getting power I decided that the control panel was the problem. There are two screws that hold the panel in place. The connectors should plug right back into the new panel but mine didn't. After a slight modification i got it to work. The clips were different on the new panel so I just pulled the wires out I the connectors and plugged them into the appropriate slots on the panel. Oh, and the part arrived the next day and it was 3 days before Christmas. This is the second purchase I have made from them and I will continue to give them my business. A+! Read more...

stove will not start no spark or gas

part did not fix the problem, may be gas regulater ,well if you are changing this part,not to bad .remove the knobs bottom screws and two side screws front cover flips up and off ,the ignition control is in front of you right side ,remove the one screw that is looking at and everything slides out .i turned off the gas and elec and removed the gas line and carefully laid the stove on it back.made it easier ,good luck Read more...
