The range thermostat is also commonly known as a stove, oven, cooktop, or range thermal fuse. This thermostat protects your oven from excessive heating, and will shut the oven heat off if excessive heating is detected. This is a genuine part sourced directly from the original manufacturer. You may need to replace this part if your appliance will not heat properly. It is made of metal and is approximately 1 inch in diameter. This part is sold individually. It is recommended to order a spare, especially if you commonly use the self-cleaning function in your oven.

Thanks for making this easy and cheap
Not only did you people have exactly what I needed, you were the only place I was able to search it easily. Delivery was fast and the price was RIGHT.
Thanks!
ps. Make sure to unplug the oven before replacing a fuse. I know it sounds obvious, but when everything is dark and it seems like it's dead, it's easy to forget that its still got juice running through it (hopefully not through you too... it wasn't THAT bad lol)

Service was great; part was problematic.
Part was similar but did not match the part I needed. Some of the problem had to do with the exploded view information. The thermostat I removed had a 150 rating; what I received was 180 (?) I believe. A call in to customer service confirmed that we were looking at the part shown on the exploded view. Although a little concerned about the higher amp I went to install anyway and found that the prongs were wider than the existing disconnects. A note saying this could an issue would be helpful. However as it turns out, replacing the part did not fix the problem anyway. Customer service was courteous and helpful with the information they had.

Thermostat needed to be replaced
We had made this determination with the help of a repairman on the phone. I ordered the part and waited for it. It was stuck in West Virginia. After several days after it was expected a repairman fixed my range to the tune of $168. It should have cost $30 (the cost of the part and shipping). Unfortunately I probably won't order

The oven is not heating to the amount of degree set it is a 25 degree different
For model number lre30755st
Hi Louisette, Thank you for the question. I recommend replacing the Thermistor,PTC, Part Number: PS3528950. This is the probe that goes into the oven to detect the temperature inside the oven, if the part is detected the oven will not get tot he proper temperature as set. Hope this helps!
The oven does not heat all the way up to 500 degrees. Can you help?
For model number LRE30453ST
Hello Dennis,
Thanks for your question. This could arise due to several different reasons. The bake element, part number PS3648889, the thermostat, or the thermal fuse, part number PS3530468. These parts should be tested with a multi-meter for continuity and replaced if they do not show continuity.
If those parts are all testing properly, consider replacing the PCB Sub Assembly, part number PS3530118.
I hope this helps.
My over want turn on press bake then start nothing happen
For model number Lre30755sw
Hello Kenneth, thank you for your question. If the oven will not start, you will want to inspect the elements to see if you can see any cracks or burn marks on the elements themselves. If they are in good condition, test the oven temperature sensor. Usually when the oven won't heat at all, out of no where, the electronic control board in the range needs to be replaced. Good luck with your repair!

Radiant heater unit 3302 (or ps3527760) can't be shut down, continue to heat up. Would you know which part needs to be replaced? Would you have the part number? It is a LG electric range. Thank you very much.
For model number LRE30453ST/01
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. You would have to test your switch or your element to see which one is giving you the issue. For the element, it should read any where between 0 ohm - 120 ohms of resistance when testing with a multi meter. When testing your switch turn it in an on position, if your meter does not change or show any results, the switch is broken and would need to be replaced. Good luck with your repair.

When i turn on my left back burner my left front burner also comes on some times, this is an intermitting problem, sometimes i turn on the left front burner and the element doesn't come on and sometimes it does, could this be a problem with my mainboard/ motherboard?
For model number LRE3023ST
Hello Howard, thank you for writing. After researching this, you are correct and this may be an issue with the PCB Assembly, part number PS8751324 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

The oven door was left cracked somehow and the oven was on i came in and the unit had shut off. The breaker did not trip. The unit has no power to nothing could it be the thermal fuse causing the problem or should i be looking for the problem somewhere else. Thanks for you help.
For model number LRE3061ST
Hello Cameron, Thank you for your inquiry. If the stove overheats, the thermal fuse blows to cut off power to the appliance. You can test the fuse with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

Main right front eye, comes on but then shuts down. If i turn it off and then turn it back on, sometimes it will stay on and sometimes not. All other eyes work fine. Wondering if there is a sensor or thermostat that is specific to this eye.
For model number LRE3083ST
Hello Glynn, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Thermal Limiter on the element PartSelect Number PS7795471 with a multi meter. If the element and the limiter are good, you may have a defective switch that controls the element. Hope this helps!
