Bad/worn drum bearings
Followed the step-by-step video, you end up taking most of the washer apart. Got the drum out & apart, then ran into a wall with the bearings. Couldn't get them out - acted like the housings were frozen. Took all the pieces of the washer to the curb for garbage pickup. I never opened the replacement parts and will be returning them.
the bearings on the tub were noisey when it was spinning fast speed.
disassembled the top and front installed the shipping bolts in the tub back housing, removed the rear bolt on the stator and removed the shell the magnets have some strong pull, had to split the plastic inner tub in half, removed the 2 lower front shocks and then removed the inner drum,, both bearings and the seal were bad, drove out inne

Read morer bearing and seal with bearing driver about 2 ft. long and then drove out the rear bearing, cleaned bore and installed new bearings and seal, the spider on the back of the inner drum was damaged from rust damage in the seal area, replaced with new part and reassembled the hardest thing was the 2 side springs, broke one of the plastic noise brackets will order another, got the rest of the washer back together , will install the top after replacing spring noise bracket., block of wood and car spring pliers for rear brakes would probably be easier for the spring install. .Took about 6 hours to disassemble and install new parts. The repair manual was ok for top and front disassembly but no further info on removing the other parts. Used common sense for the rest, used to repair garbage trucks.

How to replace the gasket?
For model number WM2010CW
Hi Anthony,
Remember to disconnect the power to your appliance and turn off the water supply. Step 1: Remove the top panel. There are two brackets on the right and left side that you will have to unscrew. You will then be able to pull the top off. Step 2: Remove the detergent drawer by pressing down the locking tab. You will see there are two screws on either side of the opening, remove both of those screws. Step 3: Disconnect the pink and white plugs from the control board. Then, lift up on the plastic control panel to remove the tabs locking it into place at the top. Release the wire harness from the retainer clip and then place your panel over the top of your machine. Step 4: Open your door. Pry out and remove the outer door clamp around your bellow. Remove the bellow from the door frame and then push it inside your machine. Step 5: Remove the pump filter cover. Unscrew the screw you see there. Then pry out the filter case and remove it. There is one screw at the bottom of the front panel. Remove that as well. Step 6: Remove the three screws at the top of the front panel. The lift it up and lean it forward. Make sure to unplug the door switch from the wiring. Step 7: Remove the hoses from the outer tub. Step 8: You will have to remove the shock absorbers from your tub. Make sure to press on the locking tab behind the pin so that you will be able to remove it. To remove the rear shock absorber, you will have to remove your rear access panel to get at it. Step 9: You will have to remove your Rotor. You can do this by removing the center bolt holding it in place. Gently remove it. Be patient, it may take a minute because there are magnets holding the rotor to the stator. Step 10: Unplug the wire harness to the stator, then remove the bolts holding the stator to the back of the machine. There are two more plugs on the bottom of the stator. Once you have it unscrewed, depress the tabs on either side of the plugs and pull them off. Remove the wire harness from the tub
