Right part wrong price
3 items in package with whirlpool written on it. 48 dollars. Yes it fit. Leak stopped. Requires a lot of dismantling. Remove inner outer tub. Whirlpool spanner wrench required. Philips head socket set metric. Requires taking out transmission, belt, pulley, splotch assembly, motor, switch transmission module. All easy to remove for a 2 dollar seal. recommend a new splotch assembly about 25 plus shipping from other vendor., once removed needed to be replaced. save time and do it as well, all plastic parts, beat the Christmas rush.

Part works,bad shipping
With a great selection of parts you would think the company would have better shipping methods. Waited 9 days for a part that went too 4 states, in its 900 mile journey. My.house is only 130 miles from place of parts departure. I am satisfied with the part as described and condition

The washer is 6 years old now and we have had no problems with it before. The last few days it has been taking longer than normal to complete a cycle and now i noticed that there is a puddle of water under it. None of the hoses are leaking. Will this his part fix it or is it something else. Thank you
For model number WTW5700XW2
Hello Greg,
Thank you for contacting us.
It is possible that your tub seal may be worn and causing the leak. You would need to inspect the seal for damage to be sure.
I hope this helps.

Does this seal come installed on the gear case part #w11035747? Or is this a different seal?
For model number WTW5840BW0
Hello Josh, thank you for your question. The seal on the gearcase and the tub seal are two different parts. The shaft seal isn't available separately for ordering. Its made into the gearcase and only available by ordering the gearcase assembly. I hope this helps!

My washer started to make noise during the spin cycle like grinding gears and it is also leaking water. I checked under the washer and I noticed their is grease/oil stains on the floor and splattered on the inside wall of the washer. Would the washer tub seal fix this issue?
For model number 110.21252110
Hello Daniel, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking or replacing the PartSelect Number PS3407958 Tub Seal and the Drive Block, PartSelect Number PS11741977. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I have recently noticed what appears to be oil under my washer. Is that possible? And what can be causing this?
For model number MVWC300XW0
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. Yes that is possible. I would suggest taking a look at your motor and your gear case. It sounds like there might be some grease that has separated and is now leaking out of that area. You may just need to add some more grease. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Just changed spindle, bearings and seal. Water leaks at bottom below spindle. Bought seal tub part #w10324647 to replace seal, but part seems about 1/4" bigger in diameter. Will this part fits on my model and once I replace, will it solve my problem?
For model number WTW7300XW0
Hello Kishore, Thank you for the question. This would not fit your appliance sorry. The Tub Seal for your model is only sold as part of the Outer Tub Assembly PartSelect Number PS3501622. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

Hi, I have a problem with water leaking out of the bottom maybe after one load of washing. To me it appears to be the rubber seal that holds the spindle down in the tub, because it only leaks when the water level rises above the cap that covers the 10 mm bolt and rubber seal underneath it. I am not sure though. Do you think this rubber seal could be bad? What do you think?
thanks in advance mike...
For model number MVWC450XW4
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. If there is water leaking in that area of the washer, the tub seal may be worn or damaged and will likely need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My top load washing machine is leaking from underneath. It looks to be occurring right at or above the motor, directly below the tub but I’m not sure. Could you please advise where to start?
