The cradle actuator does not spring up to fill glass when pushed on the rubber button. Is there a spring or part missing that is keeping it back? Thanks

Hello Ricardo, Thank you for the question. There is no spring behind the pad but the pad might be worn out and need to be replaced. PartSelect Number PS299261. You can also remove the pad to see if there is any damage to the bracket. Hope this helps!
Is there a spring connected to the cradle actuator arm next to the switch because it just keeps the switch on

Hello Lucy, thank you for your question. There is a spring that is located by the actuator arm that opens the ice door flapper, but no spring that is connected to the water actuator arm. The switch itself might be stuck in an open position. I would recommend testing the switch itself. I hope this helps!
